GCGC 2025 advances green construction knowledge and LC³ demonstration
The Global Conference on Green Construction Materials and Practices took place at NED University of Engineering & Technology on 5–6 February 2025. Researchers and industry representatives discussed low-carbon construction materials and practical approaches to cement decarbonisation.
The programme included contributions from Dr Karen Scrivener of EPFL and the LC3 Project, and Laurent Grimmeissen of Cementis. An LC3 model civil structure was inaugurated, providing a practical demonstration alongside the conference discussions.
The organising team, academic contributors and ACI NEDUET Student Chapter supported the conference. The event provided a setting for knowledge exchange between researchers, engineering professionals and Pakistan’s cement industry.
