NC4SCM introduces students to LC3 and cement chemistry
A student seminar on LC3 and cement chemistry took place on 4 September 2026 as part of the NC4SCM Seminar Series. Project Manager Engr Muhammad Danyal Sheikh delivered the session for Architecture and Civil Engineering students.
The programme covered the environmental impacts of ordinary Portland cement production, alternatives for low-carbon construction, the composition and role of Limestone Calcined Clay Cement, and the fundamentals of cement chemistry.
Dr Tariq Jamil, Ar. Rahat Arsalan, Hamza Khanzada, Muhammad Umer and Azmat Chandio supported event coordination. The seminar series introduces sustainable construction materials to future architects, engineers and other built-environment professionals.
